Two New Ways to Support South Brevard Sharing Center

The South Brevard Sharing Center has created a fundraising account with Magazine Fundraising. You can save a bundle on subscriptions to magazines you already enjoy, and 40% of your purchase goes directly to us here at the South Brevard Sharing Center. You can visit the following URL, or go to our Donations page and follow the link from there: http://www.magfundraising.com/GroupPage.aspx?gredirection=1&e=1218975

Also, we are now registered with MissionFish and will shortly be offering some of the more rare and unusual items we receive as donations online at eBay.com. In addition, if you sell on eBay you can choose to use the eBay Giving Works program to specify that a portion of the money you receive go to us here through that program.

How Can You Help?

There are many ways that you may help the South Brevard Sharing Center. A cash donation is very useful since it allows us flexibility to provide clients with a wide variety of services. Every dollar donated allows us to provide five dollars in food through the Second Harvest Food Bank.

A donation of items for resale in one of our thrift shops is a great way to help those who need it. Approximately 80% of the money realized from these donations goes directly to needy families in our community; the remaining 20% allows us to offset the costs of running our stores. Perhaps you have an unused vehicle that you would like to donate and qualify for a tax deduction?

You can't take it with you. Everyone has heard this old adage. However, you can help others even after you are gone. SBSC is happy to accept donations of goods and much-needed funds as bequests you can leave as part of a lasting legacy.
Do you regularly give to support SBSC? If so, you may wish to list SBSC as a beneficiary in your insurance policy. For a small amount each month you could provide big $$$ to help us continue our mission.

Volunteers are needed to help run the organization to maximize the benefits available. Food items are directly redistributed to those who are in need. Diapers and other baby items are very much appreciated by many young mothers struggling to care for their infants.

Sharing is Caring

Donations

The Sharing Center is about people. It's about people in need and about those who share with others. That's what a community is about- a society of people helping one another

As a non-profit agency, the Sharing Center not only seeks tax-deductible contributions, but is also eligible to receive tax-saving bequests and deferred gifts through the execution of a properly made will. The Center encourages persons to consult with their attorneys regarding such tax benefits and to consider the Sharing Center when you make your will.
Vehicles
SBSC gladly accepts used vehicles. All donated vehicles are used to help those in need or sold with the proceeds used to fund our assistance programs. The South Brevard Sharing Center can make your vehicle donation a tax-deductible contribution. Please call 727-8581 Ext. 207 for more information.
